And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death;
and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the
beast.
— Revelation 13:3 —
The New World Order is nothing new. It is as ancient
as Cain and Able. Cain built a city after God exiled him for the
murder of his brother. From the very beginning men have sought
to rule the world at the behest of the devil. Throughout history
there have been many attempts at global empire. The first notable effort
after the flood was Nimrod and the tower of Babel.
Genesis 11:1-9 And the whole earth
was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they
journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar;
and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make
brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime
had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and
a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name,
lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the
LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of
men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they
have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will
be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let
us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand
one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence
upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there
confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD
scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
Seven Empires
As men scattered and repopulated the earth after the
flood, they developed city-states wherever they settled,
each with a different language. As they grew in population and in
strength, they began to vie for territory. The stronger,
defeating the weaker, would gain new lands and new slaves, ever
becoming more powerful until they controlled the known world and achieved
empire. War has been the bane of human "civilization" since Cain
slew Able. History tells of empires that have trampled the world
to varying degrees of success. The Bible tells of six empires and
of a seventh that is yet to come.
Revelation 12:3-4 And there appeared
another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven
heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew
the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:…
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out,
that old serpent, called the Devil,
and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the
earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
We know who the great red dragon is, but what
about the heads and horns?
Revelation 13:1-4 And I stood upon the sand
of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads
and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the
name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard,
and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the
mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and
great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death;
and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the
beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast:
and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast?
who is able to make war with him?
Revelation 17:1-3 ...Come hither;
I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon
many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication,
and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine
of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness:
and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of
blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Revelation 17:15 And he saith unto me, The
waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and
multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
A beast with seven heads and ten horns that gets its
power, seat, and authority from the dragon, appears ridden by
a woman and rising out of a sea of people. Still, what about
the seven heads and ten horns?
Revelation 17:7-10 ...I will tell thee the
mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath
the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is
not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition:
and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not
written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they
behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is
the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on
which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen,
and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh,
he must continue a short space.
The "seven kings" are the key to this mystery.
Who are they? Five kings had already fallen, one king was in
existence at the time, and another had yet to come. The five
empires of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia and
Greece had arisen and fallen prior to the rise of Roman Empire.
At the time John received the Revelation, Rome still ruled the world.
Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads
as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all
the world wondered after the beast.
The beast has only had one head at a time. When
one empire died, another would grow up to take its place. From
the time of the Egyptian Empire to the fall of the Roman Empire the
beast lived on. However, when the Roman Empire fell it was as
if the beast had died. (I saw one of his
heads as it were wounded to death) All the king’s horses
and all the king’s men could not put it together again. What
about the king that is yet to come?
The beast has had six heads to date. The general
consensus says that the Roman Empire will be revived. I disagree.
If the Roman Empire is to rise again, the beast will only have six
heads. No, the beast is growing a new head as it has always
done. It is not the head that is being healed. The beast is
being healed by growing a seventh head. This one will have ten
horns. (and his deadly wound was healed)
Revelation 17:12-13 And the ten horns
which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet;
but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind,
and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
Ten Kings
The earth is being divided into ten regional states
with ten governors presiding over them, and one antichrist
is coming to rule them all.
Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was,
and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into
perdition.
For the answer to this riddle, we must refer to
the book of Daniel. Daniel’s prophecy only speaks of the last
four empires. The final empire in Daniel is the same as the seventh
of Revelation.
Daniel 7:24 And the ten horns out of this
kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall
rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall
subdue three kings.
Three of the ten kings of the seventh empire will be
subdued by an eleventh king. By the eleventh king overthrowing three
of the former kings, there will then be eight. “…he
is the eighth, and is of the seven…” I know this
can be confusing, but the following diagram of the beast should
help.

Here is the New World Order - “If they build
it, he will come," (Antichrist).
The mystery of the harlot, Babylon,
that sits upon the beast is another story. Her mystery is that there
is an ancient satanic cult behind all of this insanity.
