Yah is Salvation

This was a fun and enlightening exercise. I went through the Old Testament looking for the word salvation and replaced it with the word Yashuah. The Hebrew word for salvation is Yashuah which means "Ya or God is salvation". Of course Yashuah is also the Hebrew name of Jesus. Enjoy.

Genesis 49:18  I have waited for thy Yashuah, O LORD.

Exodus 14:13  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the Yashuah of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day:

Exodus 15:2  The LORD is my strength and song, and heis become my Yashuah: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

II Samuel 22:3  The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my Yashuah, my high tower, and my refuge, my Yasha; thou saved me from violence.

II Samuel 22:36  Thou hast also given me the shield of thy Yashuah: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

II Samuel 22:47  The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my Yashuah.

II Samuel 22:51  He is the tower of Yashuah for his king: and sheweth mercy to his Mashiach, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.

1 Chronicles 16:23  Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his Yashuah.

1 Chronicles 16:35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our Yashuah, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

2 Chronicles 6:41  Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with Yashuah, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.

Psalm 27:1  The LORD is my light and my Yashuah; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:9  Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my Yashuah.

Psalm 35:3  Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy Yashuah.

Psalm 35:9  And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his Yashuah.

Psalm 37:39  But the Yashuah of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

Psalm 38:22  Make haste to help me, O Lord my Yashuah.

Psalm 51:14  Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my Yashuah: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

Psalm 98:2  The LORD hath made known his Yashuah: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

Psalm 98:3  He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the Yashuah of our God.

Psalm 106:4  Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy Yashuah;

Psalm 116:13  I will take the cup of Yashuah, and call upon the name of the LORD.

Psalm 118:14  The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my Yashuah.

Psalm 118:15  The voice of rejoicing and Yashuah is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

Psalm 149:4  For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with Yashuah.

Isaiah 12:2  Behold, God is my Yashuah; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my Yashuah.

Isaiah 12:3  Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of Yashuah.

Isaiah 25:8-9  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his Yashuah.

Isaiah 45:17  But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting Yahsuah: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Isaiah 46:13  I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my Yashuah shall not tarry: and I will place Yashuah in Zion for Israel my glory.

Isaiah 49:6  And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my Yashuah unto the end of the earth.

Isaiah 49:8  Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of Yashuah have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Isaiah 51:5  My righteousness is near; my Yashuah is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.

Isaiah 51:6  Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my Yashuah shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Isaiah 52:7  How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth Yashuah; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Isaiah 52:10  The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the Yashuah of our God.

Isaiah 56:1  Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my Yashuah is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

Isaiah 59:16  And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought Yashuah unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

Isaiah 61:10  I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of Yashuah, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Isaiah 62:11  Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy Yashuah cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Revelation 22:11-21  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
